Installation Instructions Kinco-HMIware

(A) First install the "Kinco HMIware_v2.0".


(B) Power up the HMI and connect it to your PC's USB port. Then check if the USB driver was intalled correctly.

If the USB driver for the Kinco HMI is installed correctly, then Windows's Device Mananger - for both Win7-32bit and Win7-64bit will report under 
[USB controllers]: “Kinco HMI USB”.


If the USB driver for the Kinco HMI is NOT installed correctly, then normally Windows's Device Mananger reports 
“PNX Bulk Device” under [LibUSB-Win32 Devices].

To correct this follow these steps:

(1) 
In both folders
c:\Windows\System32\
c:\Windows\System32\drivers\
delete the AU sub-folders.

(2) 
Then remove the "PNX Bulk Device". After re-connect then update the driver for 
[Other devices] “Gadget Serial v2.4” pointing at the folder 
“c:\Program Files\Kinco\Kinco HMIware v2.0\driver\”.

Now the serial USB communications should be working !
